    For dive bar ambiance the Pioneer does not disappoint. After adjusting to the smoke filled haze enjoy the history and people, both are spectacular!

    The history in this place (and on the walls) is phenomenal. Staying true to the 'good ol days' indoor smoking is permissible, the barkeep kicks you out like the scalliwag you are with colorful language, and the patrons consist of generations of fishermen. As a tourist, no one will know you but will welcome you with that small town warmth, as long as you behave!

    Very poor service. Packed house and one waitress. Convenient location for fisher men and women.
